William Trogler Laboratory

Research: Nanochemistry

Socrates Project: Solutions and Mixtures

She is currently developing methods to make multifunctional nanoparticles for potential imaging and drug delivery applications. She was first introduced to chemistry and research while in high school. It was these initial experiences that led her to pursue a B.S. and M.S. in chemistry. Kristina understands the importance of a good education, being the first in her family to complete an undergraduate and graduate education, and through the Socrates program hopes to be able to provide the same opportunity to others. Kristina hopes that participating in the Socrates program will help her develop her skills to become a more effective teacher.
