Lisa Yoneda is a Biology, AP Biology, and Biotechnology teacher at Mira Mesa High. She has a BS in molecular biology from UCSD, a MEd in Educational Technology, has experience working in research laboratories, and is an experienced master teacher that enjoys working with new teachers.Her focus in the classroom has always been on getting students to think and explore for them selves and to enjoy learning about biology since it is so relevant to their daily lives. Lisa is always looking to collaborate with others to find new ways of bringing science that encourages understanding through discovery and critical thinking into the classroom.
