Programs Socrates Fellows Join Teacher Dates & Responsibilities

Socrates Teacher Partner Responsibilities

Teachers will expand their science expertise while attaining enriching science opportunities for their students. In summer, teachers and graduate fellows mentor one another in a five-week summer institute focused on pedagogical techniques, lesson and curriculum design, team building, leadership and current scientific research projects. During the academic year, Socrates Fellows spend on average 10 hrs/week in schools working with students and their teacher partner in the classroom and in after-school activities.
